Plentex Limited (ASX:PRM) is a mineral exploration and development company committed to the application of new exploration techniques and methods to explore for and develop gold and base metal mineral deposits.
Plentex holds exploration and development rights (for minerals other than uranium/ molybdenum/ fluorine) over a large contiguous group of mineral tenements in the Georgetown region of North Queensland covering some 5,810km2.
The Company also holds two separate royalty interests in relation to any uranium, molybdenum or fluorine, which may be produced (subject in the case of uranium to a change in the Queensland Government present policy on uranium mining within the State) from deposits currently known (e.g. the Maureen deposit) or subsequently identified by Mega Georgetown within Plentex's Georgetown tenements.
The Company objectives are to:
- Develop a regional gold mining operation centered on the recently acquired CIP gold processing plant, located 6km south west of Georgetown.
- Discover a large gold or base metal deposit in the Georgetown region.
The quotation of Plentex's securities is currently suspended pending the Company meeting certain ASX requirements. |
